There are many uses to a glider but most often than not, mothers use it to nurse their little one.
If this is going to be your primary purpose of using the glider, then the Graco Sterling Glider & Nursing Ottoman from Stork Craft is one very good option to consider.

What We Love
When it comes to the Graco Sterling Glider, it has to be its signature pull-out nursing stool.
Tucked under the accompanying ottoman that comes with the glider, you can pull the nursing stool out (pictured left) if you wish to have somewhere comfortable to lay your feet on during those late night feedings.
When not in use, simply fold it back up under the ottoman for safe storage and added versatility as well as to save space.
Why is this such a raved-about feature is because when it comes to breastfeeding, more often than not you'll need to sit in the same position for a prolonged period of time without moving much.
It can get very tiring, so it is very important that you get into the most comfortable position. The pull-out stool provides just that extra bit of edge in terms of alleviating any discomfort, compared to other glider with ottoman combination.
To date, this is the only baby glider in the market that has this feature (at least from our research) so this truly sets it apart from the rest of its competitors.
And yes, this is a glider + ottoman set whereby the chair comes with a matching ottoman. Both chair and ottoman glide, working in tandem to create a synchronized flow to give its user a comfortable experience.
We think a combination as such are essential features to ensure comfortable breastfeeding sessions because not only does your body get the sliding action, your legs get that too. On top of that, you get to elevate your feet after a busy day.
Another thing that we like about the Graco Sterling is its high back which provide adequate back, neck and head support unlike some which do not go above the upper back.
Although there may be some who'd still find it not tall enough, it is by far the glider with the highest back we can find in the market. Nonetheless, if you already have a bad back to start with, then this may be a better option instead because it comes with a lumbar pillow.
Things to Note
One thing we'd strongly advise you to do is to pay attention to the assembly instructions. In particular, do not over torque / tighten the bolts to the chair because this will damage the wood and weaken it in the process.
This is actually something many will do while assembling the chair (most likely in fear of the chair not being sturdy enough otherwise) but doing so may actually result to you breaking the chair apart.
Therefore, follow the instructions closely. You do not need to exert extra force to ensure it stands sturdy. Done right, it will glide smoothly without creaking, cracking or making any noise.
While we'd say the Graco Sterling Glider is one of the biggest glider in the market, the seat may still feel a tad narrow for you if you're on the bigger side. If you'd like something a bit wider, then this may be a more suitable option.
We wish that they'd include a lock mechanism though. This way, you can keep the glider stationary when desired. It is by no means a deal breaker for us, but thought it may be a point of concern to some.
With its classic bow back shape, luxurious upholstered arms and unparalleled comfort, this high back glider rocker is surprisingly priced at a very reasonable and affordable range, especially when it includes a matching ottoman.
It is therefore not a surprise that the Graco Sterling Glider and Nursing Ottoman continues to be one of the most top rated nursery gliders in the nursing chair department despite the many competition!
